Roll up your sleeves and get ready to roll out some dough in Just Grillin’s Artisan Pizza and Calzone Class featuring Pizza Porta.
In this fun, hands-on class you’ll go through the steps of preparing dough from scratch while racking up plenty of tips to forming and baking a pizza. If you’re feeling adventurous, give the dough a toss in the air once or twice!
You’ll work side-by-side with classmates crafting and preparing a calzone with as much of the toppings as you want. Or as little. You’ll leave class with the calzone ready to bake at home!
Doug Driscoll will be the instructor for the class. Methods taught will include using Just Grillin’s in-store pizza oven and using the Pizza Porta on the Big Green Egg to create wood-fired pizza on a kamado-style grill.
All class participants will receive their own metal pizza peel too!
Having pizza delivered or boxed from the frozen aisle will be a thing of the past once you see how easy it is to make delicious pizza yourself.
